- Please note: It is not necessary to place the end of the nozzle directly onto the weed – the heat from the weed burner will travel down the stem of the weed and kill the root preventing any further growth. Placing the tip of the weed burner nozzle directly in contact with the weed will not increase the effectiveness of killing the weed and will cause the weed burner over heat.
